Mr. Winston Spencer-Churchill, the grandson of Sir Winston Churchill, officially opened Quickco Manchester on 19th June 1981. This branch was initially a subsidiary of Quicks' Ford franchise and only sold Ford parts to smaller or independent repairers and dealers.
Opened in 1981, in Trafford Park Manchester, Quickco was the first parts distribution business of its kind, created by Norman Quick, of the H & J Quick Dealer group, as an offshoot of the Trafford Park Ford franchise Dealership.
Since then, Quickco has grown to 3 major hubs across the UK in Manchester, Glasgow and Sunderland, with a smaller distribution warehouse for the local trade in Chester. From these locations, Quickco service the entire Evans Halshaw dealer network with everything from Genuine and Aftermarket car parts, to workshop consumables, janitorial supplies and PPE.
Quickco have been supplying the local trade from these locations for decades- with over 40 delivery vans, 85 delivery routes and 'within the hour' delivery available in some areas. Any customers outside the delivery area are not left behind, with a next-day delivery service available from our huge courier operation.
