Car Switches, Car Cooling and Heating Sensors
While the engine under your bonnet might be largely mechanical, today's vehicles are as much about electronics as anything else. Your vehicle requires a number of switches and sensors in order to operate correctly. Over time and with wear and tear, these components will eventually fail. One of the most common to fail is your car thermostat. This is responsible for helping to regulate the flow of coolant through the engine. Your car radiator can also fail if not maintained properly (debris, rust and corrosion are the main culprits here). Your car's reversing sensors are responsible for providing aid while parking. Another common problem is a failed oxygen sensor. These are fitted into your exhaust system and are responsible for evaluating the level of certain gasses within the exhaust flow, and communicating that information to the vehicle's computer, which then triggers other systems, including the EGR valve to burn off excess emissions. Whether your thermostat has failed, one of your oxygen sensors no longer functions, your radiator is leaking (or has a damaged sensor), or you need replacement reversing sensors, Quickco can help.
